Our Story

It started in 2022 when Monique was lost and asked the first person she saw (David) if she was in the right place.

However, their journey truly took flight on her 30th birthday - particularly when there was too much bubbly left over.

Let’s look back …

9/12/23 Monique joined David’s work full time

6/5/24 Monique’s 30th Birthday bash ft. Destiny

Fun Fact: If Monique wasn’t jet lagged from her first trip to Portugal, she would’ve been at David’s 30th too.

11/27/24 David and Monique hosted their first Friendsgiving together ft. Bennett

12/25/24 David moved in with Monique, and celebrated their first Christmas together

2/11/25 Once David settled in, they threw their “housewarming party”

7/25/25 For their anniversary, David and Monique stayed the TWA Hotel

6/5/25 The following birthday, David and Mo hosted a Tacky Tourist party ft. her sister Elisha

11/28/25 Eventually, David proposed to Monique in Central Park

What began as a working relationship, developed into something more.

Neither David or Monique saw it coming though, because (aside from their oblivious tendencies) they simply were not looking for anything, let alone any one.

Yet somehow, the foundation of their friendship paved its own way to marriage status.
